Fuji Mae New Zealand - Approved Supplier for ITFNZ

Fuji Mae New Zealand is the approved supplier for our Taekwon-Do uniform and the majority of our training equipments. All uniform purchase can be made through our club instructors, download order form (PDF 113 KB) or visit www.fujimae.co.nz

Approved Dobok

  • The Dobok Top is to be of the front Zip Up or Velcro style.
  • The ITF badge is to be correctly mounted on the front left breast. The Foundation badge is to be mounted on the front right breast. A small club badge may be attached to the right sleeve for individual club identity. (This should be smaller than the ITFNZ badge)
  • The ITF Tree is to be worn on the rear of the Dobok top. The trouser leg should have the words ITF down the outside placed at about knee height.
  • Black belt holders shall wear an official ITFNZ black belt and have 3cm wide black trimming around the bottom of the jacket; 4th Dan and above are distinguished by 3cm black stripes down the outside of the jacket sleeves and trousers.

Fuji Mae Taekwon-Do Belt

Various sizes in al colours. Wrap around once belts in accordance with ITF rules (Fuji Mae ID: Junior - 10510, Adult - 10525, 10530, 10535)

Approved Sparring Gear

ITFNZ Tournament Rules stated safety Equipment worn by Competitors:
(1) Competitors must wear
  • Mouth guard
  • Gloves must be of an approved type and must cover from the wrist bone to the top of the fingers.
  • Boots which cover the back-heel.
  • Headgear which will be supplied by ITFNZ.
  • Groin guard for males (to be worn inside dobok trousers)
  • Boots and gloves must correspond with the allocated colours of the competitor. Ie red gear if the competitor is designated red. Black can be worn as a substitute to red or blue.
(2) Competitors may optionally wear,
  • Chest protector (female only, to be worn inside the dobok)
  • Groin guard for females (to be worn inside dobok trousers)
  • Shin pads
  • Forearm guards.

What is Taekwon-Do
